It seems that during these holidays at the end of the year I enjoy playing with pictures taken some time ago. This time I chose some shots taken in August 2011 in Norway, on the way to the Lofoten Islands archipelago, were I witnessed some of the most breath-taking landscapes of my life.
Comparing the new post-production with the old one I noticed how much I was abusing Lightroom's direct positive preset. This time I completely avoided it and I am quite satisfied, especially with the color of the sea and the sky that were way more saturated in the previous versions. I have even decided to break the unwritten rule I usually apply of keeping the 2x3 format when I have to crop any picture, obtaining some 1x3 panorama.
