When I received an email about the opportunity for a weekend trip to Litokaira, " the southernmost wilderness in Finland", I knew I couldn't miss it. The promise was the following:
"Relaxed loitering, picking lingonberries, fishing, chatting away, preparing smoked fish, making soot pan coffee, frying pancakes, making dinner. Singing songs together and alone, watching campfire sparks dancing, listening to the calm breath of the forests, making wishes on twinkling stars."
Unfortunately we missed the "twinkling stars", since the night was quite cloudy, but we experienced all the rest.
