Cuba. Spring 2016.

When I booked my holidays in Cuba for the end March 2016, Obama had not yet announced that he would be on the biggest island in the Caribbean Sea during the same days, becoming the first American president to visit Cuba in nearly a century. During my two weeks on the island the feeling to be in a place that could change dramatically in the next few years was behind every corner. Still, Cuba is a place like no other in the world, stuck in moment between the past and the present (and the Almendron cars are just the most visible sign of it).
