You wait for the moon-rise about which the news channels have been talking for days, at the top of a hill made of tires and other waste. It is almost midnight. You check your back and you realize that the sunset is approaching. The contrast between the pile of tires and the forest just beyond it is so peculiar that it is probably worth to take some pictures of it. Since you have brought the tripod for the moon you could even try some HDR. You forget about the moon.
This is how this picture was born. I am not usually into sunset pictures nor HDR, but I admit I am qite happy about the result in this case.
